Someone commenting on the good ole boys bus being parked for several months in handicapped parking spaces wanted to know what's the big deal? The big deal is there are several violations of law. The average Madison citizen would have been ticketed long ago. Why hasn't the law been enforced ? Why is the city an administrator of pick and choose law enforcement? I hate rumors and such but more and more I'm beginning to believe the comments made by citizens against our city government. Certainly no transparency and accountability

Why don't the citizens of Jefferson county have a say where money is spent from the Bethany legacy foundation? That money was intended for the less fortunate and people in need. Not the cities infrastructure and police dept? This county doesn't have any crime. And a handful of people? How is that even legal a group of people can just take over a hospitals endowment?

With the P.O. of the Mayor waiting to be heard I noticed Indy Lawyer is now involved. Is the City paying the bill for this if so when it going to end! Tax payers are tired of the expense after expense!

Free hand outs and government grants or funding is what keeps Madison alive...lol...Madison has full time people on payroll just for this purpose. How do you think they pay for the old bldgs to be fixed up...movie theatre?

What I find funny about the R.V. situation. His wife was a Fox News Contributor. I'm sure they were against Student Loan Relief, the Affordable Care Act, and countless other safety social net programs provided by the government. Yet, when nobody is looking. They will take a free handout from the local government in a second.

I had to look into the Dukes of Hazard actor...found out he had been arrested for failing to pay alimony, citing financial troubles. Does his ex know he has the RV and where it's parked? Also found he was investigated by the Secret Service for making violent remarks, and also has a history of making racist remarks. Guess he's the right kind of people "Madison's mayor" would want to ally with.

The luxury RV is illegally parked in multiple handicapped parking spots. It doesn’t have handicapped plates. In fact, it appears the license and registration expired in November 2024.

Why in the hell are we giving preference to a multi-millionaire.

Omg..is any one over seeing the Bethany legacy foundation? They are spending like there is no tomorrow. Just saw where they are funding some documentary film for 10s of thousands of dollars to start. A million dollars in salaries per year. Not to mention perks and health ins...cars? It says they were voted in those positions. I never was sent a ballet? Madison should know better then to give a bunch of old women a blank check..
