You gotta read all the negative comments about Bob on Fb. I keep hearing he’s going to resign. That would be best for us all. He’s going to kill local republicans party. Should be interesting to see who signs up to run in the caucus. Rumor has Thevenow won’t but Josh Wilbur is thinking. Of course Tony the cheat Steinhardt thinks he’s a show in. I’m not real sore about that. Everybody knows this deal with Rebar Development is one Steinhardt started. The whole company did a crooked deal with him. So I’m not sure if Bob goes who would end up as mayor. All I know is I’m tired of the his lies , the endless drinking, tantrums and disrespect of citizens. Not to mention the money he gives his own family out of city finds.

Is this the same Mayor and Planning Commission that denied Lanthier Winery a building permit for a warehouse because said property was located in the floodplain and one neighbor complained (Rickets)?

Now, the Mayor and the Planning Commission want to locate 56 market rate condos in the floodplain. Assuming 2 persons per condo, that’s 112 residents needing parking spots and that will need to be evacuated during flooding

Finally, why is our Mayor proposing to subsidize market rate condos. The Mayor’s proposed $5m investment in the project essentially subsidizes each unit by approximately $90,000. That’s absurd. You don’t subsidize prime property development- unless it’s a payoff.

They could add $25 to the cart fees annually. Thing is, I doubt the revenue would go to the roads.

I believe the Wheel Tax is collected through the BMV when you renew your registration each year. Therefor would only pertain to licensed vehicles, not golf carts. The City is already collecting a yearly fee on golf carts. There is a small number of LSV carts in Madison. Most of those have a license plate, so I believe they will be subject to the Wheel Tax.

Mr. Auxier did a great job nailing all the dishonesty didn’t he! As for the city director girl Nicole and Joe Jenner both are lying sacks of sheet or so incompetent they both need fired. I’m going with liars and scam artist. The sad part is that entire commission believed every word both said. Don’t get me wrong. All but three ended up playing the ignorant fool for Courtney and went along with pretending like an application was a resolution. That crazy bitty Nichole doubled down for her comments to the paper. At least Jenner knew to run for cover and keep his mouth shut.

If the wheel tax is for city residents only ,and there are several commenting on golf carts need to be included and buffer zones don't count , maybe they shouldn't be allowed to drive into the he city ...

I may be mistaken but wasn't Madison named a tree city not too long ago? If so, is the mayor going to have those trees replaced or do we lose our tree city status.
