No Julie Berry and her husband were not involved in a hit and run. They were downtown and husband was attempting to parallel park . In their struggle to park, a vehicle was bumped several times. To my knowledge there weren’t even any scratches. I’ve no idea if a note was left. But no there was no drunk driving incident and no hit and run.

I don’t know of an ongoing relationship between Bob and the “Madpoodle guy”- yes Jerry Wade received several hundreds of thousands in handouts from the city. His handout was nothing compared to the millions proposed to go to Ms Boykin under Welch. Still adding up all the money funneled to wealthy home owners for downtown facade improvements, painting Main Street, over runs in the pool and on and on- it’s easy to understand why so many are upset about Bobs money mismanagement.

The county does NOT control Huntingtons “shovel ready swamp”- that fiasco is a city issue. The truth is every town with a corn or soybean field has a “shovel ready park”.

It's an amazement to me that Bob gets to do everything he wants to do. Of course that's courtesy of the city council, except for one standout that is Thevenow. I want to remind everybody that there is a bunch of people that keep electing this idiot. He's moving them in from all over the place people that can afford to do things that none of us can afford to do. Thus the condominiums on the riverfront. And not only does he want to do that he wants to wreck the whole Riverfront. That's the one thing he hasn't gotten he's grimy hands on yet.
Then the governor says squat and Bobby saying how high and what color. And there's a wheel tax they're wanting to see apply to all of us. And Bobby can't spend enough money so we got to have that. I believe when Damon made that deal that we took over Main Street and all the way to the top of Hanover hill we had the funds to take care of that. Where are the funds Bob? What pocket will we pick those out of? And then times aren't hard enough, now they're going to add a tax to eat now! So much for those sweet waitresses getting a nice tip. We can only have our pocket pick so many times. Oh and don't forget the water rate increase that he's planning. He's not going to do a rate study unless he's planning on increasing the the rates. And this is all supposed to make us happy? What else has he got up his sleeve? What other magic trick is he going to show us. Let's just wreck the whole Riverfront. Put up statues everywhere we don't really need. It's been more money matching Grant funds. But we have to match the other half. Replace a swimming pool with something magnificent that our kids can't even afford to swim in and we can't afford to let them go to! How much more Bobby! This is just ridiculous. He's done nothing but ruin this community since he took over. And it was a takeover. With all these slimy little dirty tricks. And I hear this from a lot of people they are sick of him. But then again he's got another two years to make our lives even better. In search sarcasm.! I say next city election it needs to be anybody but Courtney! And clean that city council out. And anybody that goes along with him that's on the county counselor the County Commission in 26 we need to rake some of those people out. Hand them their pink slipping and send them on their way. You do realize if you just have a basic water rate your water bill's $ $72 a month. Right here in River City. It really wasn't that long ago basic rate with water sewage and trash was $43 a month. All this since he's taking over. Yeah I say what's a few more pennies, nickels and dimes. I think that's what he wants he wants nickel and dime all of us can't afford to live with him in this town run by him. He wants us all to move elsewhere. I say let's just eliminate the problem and get rid of him. 27 can't get here soon enough!

Would like to know what golfers think of Sunrise Conditions?
Had not been on the course since Spring. My how things can change. As Ali once said "Are you a Champ or are you a Chump?" Not much to brag on here. I am sure there will be lots of fingers pointed in a lot of directions. Need to get Sunrise back in shape. Difference between Champ and Chump is U. Thoughts on the course?

Simtra BioPharma Solutions bought 65 acres of Bloomington property early July to build a cancer drug manufacturing facility. This in addition to Simtra doing a 225M expansion of their existing Bloomington facility.

Anyone else glad that 56 is open? Anyone else traveled it yet? If so, has anyone else seen the big crack that is already there? For being closed for 3 months you'd think it would have taken a little longer for it to crack. Don't know if it's because of the heat, big rigs traveling that are too heavy, or shoddy work. But I figure it will be fixed again when it's closed down for another 2-3 months. Just wait for the closed signs!!!

Not sure if Bloomington is getting a new drug manufacturing facility. I know Eli Lilly has just started in Lebanon. I have to ask what are some of the county commissioners and town council doing,sitting on their a@s while other towns are getting the new factory. What e actually do you people do to have the title. If I was the mayor I WOULD NOT have a deputy mayor. What a waste of good money. Little league would still be in business. Gary Van wye would be setting these guys straight. And the golf course would be maintained properly. I would be on the move making sure city employees are working. And the city office would probably lose about 1/3 of there staff. He'll I think I'll move back and run for mayor
They are racing today in tri Cities higher wind than here. No wind delays there!!!!!

Yes there was a suicide in Hanover .

Yes, there is a new prosecutor in the Armstrong case. This guy is tough - ask the sheriff he sent to jail. No, I don’t know for sure if the recent gathering at Armstrongs home was a legal fund - fundraiser for Tim. However there weren’t any young kids from the school in the pool.

The case against Kyle Davis is moving forward. In recent emails he confessed he did in fact take pictures of his daughter and her friend in their underwear. He defended his action by conveying the young girls was a friend of the family and therefore there was nothing wrong with him including her in a photograph. I have copies of the email and his consent to release. So he is confident he did nothing wrong. Obviously it goes without saying- don’t let your daughters go to his house - he assumes he has your consent to photograph them in their underwear.

Yes VMI promotes other businesses outside Jefferson County. They use local tax dollars to promote both Milton Kentucky and Jennings County businesses. The trolley travels to a Jennings County business and VMI encourages local visitors to buy tickets to events in Jennings County.

The mayor is still struggling with the public outcry against the riverfront apartments——and there have been numerous complaints about his defending Trump in regards to child predator and the Epstein list. I have neither heard nor seen Bob do so on his fb pages - but I don’t follow him that closely. If you want to insist on discussing Bobs support of child predators- Trump etc send the screen shot of his comments please.

The road is open to Vevay. JB, Big dog and Zuzu need cherry pie and visitors. Drive safely.

Admin reply: Today I got a visit from John Simpson his wife and mother. A warm well made Amish cherry pie was in hand. I did not share with Big dog and Zuzu.

BTW, who is this Fancy Pants who thinks the homeless and vagrants are usually overrunning the shelter houses on the riverfront; few places to sit down and enjoy some takeout from a local restaurant.

If dining out costs more due to a local tax, we can diminish our tips so the consumer won't feel the pinch. We can further diminish our tips since the workers will be able to disregard the first $25,000 in tips and not pay taxes on it--so they can make due with smaller tips since they won't be paying their share of taxes out of it.

Whose RV is parked at the end of General Dorton Drive and Virginia Ave, behind Lowes? Did that fancy pants John Schneider sneak up there for some more free parking on a dead end public street? Will it be okay if I use part of that street to store my car? It's licensed but I've parked it while I'm waiting to do some repairs this fall. Surely the city wouldn't mind and I really can't spare the room in my own driveway.

Why are there no picnic tables downtown or on the riverfront? Nothing but benches and benches but few places to sit down and enjoy some takeout from a local restaurant. The homeless and vagrants are usually overrunning the shelter houses and I don't want to be around them since I don't know if they are on drugs, violent, lusty or all three!
