Here we go with Bobs game playing again. Let’s do this!

MYTH: Bob is cold sober honest. You can trust Bob to give you the entire picture.

TRUTH: Bob rarely tells the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Missing from his comments will be large chunks of important facts that clearly show why he is wrong. He may present a few pieces of accurate information but the entire pie has been chewed on and gnawed at so that people don’t get a full taste of the full picture. That and nobody’s seen Bob sober for more than a few days . So cold, sober honest isn’t how anyone describes Bob.

Not see the light of day? It's all right there in the DLGF reports dashboard and you can't hide it. All Cooke did was look there! Anyone can look there 24/7 at their pleasure for all things government financials and much more. There's nothing hidden from anyone. That's some political ridiculousness IMO. Sure wish Bob would have spoken up to the massive financial liability taking over Main Street to the top of Hanover Hill from the state was. He was the City Budget Director at the time and advising City Council. Must have slipped his mind.

If we're gonna have a wheel tax forced on us then they need to make sure the vehicles on the road we're paying for are in good safe working condition. And speaking of safe the cops need to stop watching traffic on Clifty and Michigan and go into the neighborhoods where the traffic truly needs watched. Refocus your efforts.

The mayor may be a lot of things but he is not $tupid. My guess is he felt he could suppress the city’s dire financial situation long enough for him to finish his term. This was in the planning starting with removing all city financials from the website a couple years ago. He would go out the hero at the end of his term and the new mayor will be the bad guy who cannot resume all the wonderful things Bob did for Madison. This report was never supposed to see the light of day and Mr Cooke should be commended.

I hope everybody attends this city meeting tomorrow and reminds them verbally that they work for us! They are not hired to make decisions for us. They are hired to represent us. It's time to revolt! They need to understand that if they let this apartment building go through on our riverfront that they are done! The people who voted them in need to remember that you vote for people who are qualified. You do not vote for people just because you know them or because they bought you a beer or you went to school with them. That seems to be the mentality here in madison. They thought these people in and then they complain about it.

A food and beverage tax to support tourism- WHY? We already have a tourism tax that brings in over a million. A tax for economic development- WHY? We already have a tif zone that robs the general fund and brings in lots more than a million a year. So that leaves parks - WHY- the mayor raised prices at the golf course and the pool and started charging to “rent space” at parks and he said that would pay for parks and yet here we are again with Hitler Bob doing another Trump style tariff. All he’s doing is taxing us when we can least afford it. I don’t hear how the money is going to spent. Looks to me like another slush fund to give to his buddies. I’m sick of his guy.

Bottom of page 11 of city financial report.
If I am reading this correctly, there was a bill in State Legislature that was pasted to allow Madison a food and beverage tax.
Who knew about this? Why weren’t citizens told about this?
Another sneaky way to deceive us.

I tell you who has a copy of this report. Every city council member got a copy last week. You should try to get a copy from them. In addition, you should bring all kinds of pressure on those council people because they were just as complicit as the Mayor. The crazy expenditures by the City Officials has to stop.
