Can someone tell Keith Cullens that his rental property on Strader has turned into a kennel for retired police dogs and we are getting extremely sick and tired of listening to them bark all day. Renters like that have no business living in the city to disrupt those who have been in their neighborhood for decades. And slumlords that allow this to happen are no better.

Somethings really wrong with mayor Bob and his crackpot Miss
Madison racing boat board. There’s no way Jennifer at Colonial Flowers would have donated a dime leave alone tens of thousands to that boat. So what’s the deal ? I keep hearing all kinds of bad things about how she did it but I don’t want to believe she’s dishonest so what’s the real deal. Or did our hometown sweet flower girl turn bad?

I have a question for the Mayor and Tony?
How did the City of Madison acquire the READI funds for the housingat the former coal yard? In order to apply for the Grant the City had to have already proposed it intentions to the boards already. This Grant is for $2million. It appears the City may have already comitted Grant Fraud in obtaining the already awarded READI money. Both Tony and Bob could and should receive PRISON time for their recent actions.

Someone needs to tell Keith Acree's renters that his carts don't belong in Music Alley. And MPD needs to watch the 30mph stretch of SR 7 better for golf carts. Just another way for people to act more entitled around here.

City Councilman Bartlett was at Thomas Winery and had already consumed way too much when he started talking about the riverfront development committee. He rambled on to credit the Riverfront Development Committee as "sponsoring the riverfront condo development". I am told, but have not verified, that the Riverfront Development Committee is upset that Bartlett has spoken of them dishonestly. Allegedly, the committee met and discussed the fact Bartlett was "attempting to lay the development off on them." Again, I have not spoken with anyone on RFDC- my source is someone who spoke with committee members. The issue is important because the entire project has come under heavy fire. The community as a whole is NOT united behind multi level, luxury condos for the riverfront. Therefore if the mayor can make false claims that other persons are supporting the project it eases the pressure on him and city council to abandon the idea. My guess is RFDC did not in anyway ask the city to pursue multi level luxury condos. Instead, the entire idea is either a drunken rant or perhaps wishful thinking.

As far as all the questions about a local flower shop sponsoring part of Miss Madison's operating costs- that's and entirely other animal and a mess to straighten out. I was told the mayor is the "perpetrator" in misleading and or abusing a well respected, local business womens kindness. I will get back with you when I am able. tjh

@charliecardinal. If this is in reference to the condos on the river he can be stopped. People need to reach out to the zoning board members and their city council representatives.
If this project is approved it will be because of them. These are your friends and neighbors. Tell them to step up and say NO to the mayor. This is not the kind of progress we want!!! There may be a small group that thinks this is a good idea, but the majority do not.

If this is approved it will forever change the landscape of the riverfront. A big project that benefits very few people - certainly not our community.
