Well looks like Bob scammed donors for his pipe dream. You guys called it right- miss madison could’ve gone out on top as winner but now she doesn’t even get a mention in the Guntersville Hydrofest because she just sat there with a frucked up engine. What an embarrassment. So what’s the plan for regatta ? Are we gonna go to the river and make fools of ourselves again or can they get the running in time just to go out a looser?

Rumors are swirling that there’s been a huge falling out between Mayor (pee wee Courtney) and Deputy Mayor (lil Tony boy). Trouble in paradise and differing opinions due to the riverfront development and Bobby boy wanting Tony to take blame for all of his mistakes as mayor of our town.

I sure miss the good old days in Madison!

So how much money did our Mayor waste so his buddies could go play race boats this past weekend. Blown engine and per diem for 6-8 folks for 4-5 days is not cheap.

The only developer I would trust to build apartments on the river is Susan Sugget

two quick points: a funeral procession going down main to Bedford today.i pulled over but no one else did. 5 cars from Trimble co and two from Oldham co. second point, golf cart trails slowly being added to. They say now that the trailer park on 7 can cross bridge. Cortney is a sneak on this issue

Yes it is true that local republicans are posting false info about the LA situations. County Councilman Chris Shelton was caught posting photos from 2020 and passing them off as current photos. His comment was for citizens to get “psychiatric help” if they disagreed with his opinion and post. Please be careful of what you share.

If the mayor can't disclose the developer and the details of the condos then it's a no brainer. Any council members who vote for the condos don't ever again need to be elected again. You don't go into a contract blind as a bat.
If you buy a car you sure as hell don't buy a car without knowing the cost and details. If there is secrecy in this deal some palms are being greased. You people in Madison need to show up at the city council meeting and let your council members know to do the right thing. Remember they can be fired!

Mr Auxier thank you for saying so well what nearly the entire town is thinking. No one I know is on board with apartment buildings added to the river front. First I heard luxury condos and now we learn there’s going to be low income apartments included with this first phase. And I guess that’s what’s happening , this is just one of several construction jobs Bob has but in the works. I’m just tired of Bobs lies and meanness but think you did a great job. Please keep us informed and share your thoughts more often.

Excellent post by Mr. Auxier. I hope the zoning board does their due diligence and gives a NON-favorable recommendation to the city council.

Why is it so hard to find out who the developers of this project are? Are our city council members privy to this information?

Let's hope elected government officials start asking questions.
