With Black Friday and Cyber Monday now here, it is clear that the dangers facing online shoppers are greater than ever and getting rapidly worse. The latest reports suggest scam websites have surged 89% over last year, and almost 80% of shopping offers hitting inboxes are fraudulent. We have even seen Google search results poisoned to send traffic to dangerous websites.

So let me get this straight. Scudder works the Davis case, lies about what was found in the warrant, secures a high profile arrest, gets praised and some TV time, gets promoted chief, and multiple officers quit on him after the facts come out? Now he’s resigning 1 year after the promotion? Is the writing on wall and he’s getting ahead of the curve? Or is this all just a coincidence?

If he is still walking the streets of Madison. He violates someone else. The blowback and the high intensity will be on the Armstrong family for getting him out of it. Quite Frankly, they should get it. They don't care about anybody else. They just care about what it looks like when a close family member is in trouble. They could care less about future victims.

Anyone who read the probable cause affidavit can clearly see what kind of sick individual Armstrong really is. Probably a slap on the wrist and maybe probation.

I think the biggest difference between Armstrong and Davis’ case is that Scudder was the only hand in Davis’ case. By his own testimony, he had no help with the case from ISP, or fellow MPD officers and DCS kicked it out. Davis was framed by Scudder. Rumor has it he was having an affair with Scudders wife. Explains why Scudder didn’t allow any other hands in the investigation. He didn’t want anyone to know or see the messages/pictures of his wife apparently. Davis’ defense forensically proved the phone the alleged victim is describing isn’t the phone Davis had at the time of the alleged crime. But at Trial, the alleged victim conveniently forgot the phone she saw, cause it didn’t match Davis’. Plus with over 1 terabyte of Data, they didn’t find a single piece of CP, illegal searches/downloads. Scudder used a photo of Davis’ kids opening Christmas presents to secure the arrest. That was the “prepubescent in a form of undress” what parent wouldn’t have that? Davis turned down a sweetheart deal. He was offered no jail, no prison, no registry to plea to a level 6 and Davis told them to shove it and clearly went to trial. This is going to get interesting when the case is officially over. 6-6 hung jury and Scudder was in there helping select the jury too. Rigged system and a stacked against Davis and the best they could do was 6-6?

Ive been told that the Armstrong case is not as strong as one thinks. The case of the Vevay Officer, Davis, is very similar in nature and he got a hung jury and it wasnt even close. 6 and 6. Wonder if Armstrong gets a plea he cant refuse?
