So Bob finally got called out in all the bullschit on the riverfront district and luxury apt complex. Kudos to Auxier and his team of citizens who worked so hard to stand up for what’s right. That said I can’t even pick my favorite part of the letter. I really like the fact they nailed the mayor for his restricting citizens talk time and then being a blow hard fighting for the pro side which he’s not even supposed to speak. Not to mention the locking people out and not extending the meeting. I do like Bob getting called out on his hallway meeting and it’s extra special Auxier’s got him on all sorts of illegal cr@p. If you haven’t read it you should. But I gotta say the kicker is how hard the whole town worked to keep pushing that time limit and how ignorant Bob and Jenner were that they got lead down the path of delaying decisions until it was after the deadline. Again I don’t know if they are bigger liars or dipshctiz. All I know is the game is just getting started and I suspect Auxier and his team are still holding a fistful of Aces.

Mundt is interim chief. Rumors flew that Courtney was going to bring back child pervert protector Wallace . Considering Bob has a thing for being “proud” to be seen with those kind of people it wouldn’t surprise me if he doesn’t decide to let Wallace back in eventually. But for now it’s Mundt .

Also looks like the city is skrewed regarding the riverfront. CLEARLY Bobs been caught with his pants down. He has to be embarrassed being caught in all the lies and crooked behavior.

So I’m curious…. Are these apartments that are rented on yearly contracts? Are they Condos people will own? Maybe they can build this much needed apartment complex near the Marina a condos? Is there any language saying this proposed property will not be another Air bnb. Air bnb are taking up downtown residences.

As expected city councilman’ Josh Schafer’s survey came back with an overwhelming result of 84.19 against and only 15.81 in favor or unsure. I’m unclear why he combined unsure and in favor but I do understand it makes the results slightly less staggering. I sent the results to JB. Take Mr. Schafer’s comments with a grain of salt and keep in mind the mayor had been telling the council that it’s only a few people and basically democrats against the proposal. It’s all pretty self explanatory but I’ll answer questions or find the answers. Tjh

Councilman Josh Wilbur’s survey results are back and the results are to say, at the very least staggering. 84.19 percent of respondents are against the RFD and luxury apartment development subsidized by taxpayers to benefit wealthy residents. The proposed building is to be built in the flood plain in the heart of the riverfront recreational and festival areas . Only 15.81 percent were either in favor or unsure. I don’t know why he chose to combine the unsure and in favor categories - maybe it was to make the immense gap between for and against not appear as cavernous as it is. Schafer had some colorful insults and admitted tossing a certain amount of the data because of rude remarks , vulgar comments or apparently comments he believed to be so blatantly uninformed that he simply had to adjust the public record to better match his view of “accuracy. That said every council person has been subject to repeated pushes by Steinhardt and the mayor that those against are few and far between and primarily democrats. The results had to be an eye opener.
