Since Jim Bartlett is just so upset with how he is being treated about this vote. I want Jim to consider the unfortunate people who own homes behind the parking lot. They have had river views for years. We have seen sit out in there yards and enjoy the riverfront from there spot. Thanks to Crybaby Jim. These nice people are getting royally screwed. I think Jim needs to stop thinking of himself.

When will we wake up and realize the apartments are just another way of making Madison a retirement destination? Where are the tech jobs our mayor promised 6 years ago? Where is the growth?

New slogan? Madison, a lovely town in which to retire and day drink. Look at the majority of photos on social media of the local taverns. LOT's of gray hairs. Most of the musical talent caters to MMM and their preferred genres.

Don't mind that we can't keep our best and brightest young people. The only opportunities that abound are in the manufacturing sector. Yet, those companies can't keep fully staffed on the production line.

Yet let's develop a property that will become a glorified Air BNB. Wake up folks, we are dying on the vine here.

In light of the "let's vote for a tax at its maximum price point" wheel tax BS, let's raise the annual golf cart registration to no less than $40 since those people want to use and abuse our roads too. So tired of certain groups around here getting away with murder SMH.

How does building apartments/condos in the floodplain jive with the Mayor’s Make Madison Safe pledge?

I was talking with a group of downtown people the other day and we were all in agreement that when they build the ugly building on the riverfront, the historic group might as well hang it up. A lot of homeowners are not going to follow the guidelines since the historic district has been overrun with new construction.I was down by John Paul park and couldn't believe the house that was built across the street from the park.It looks so out of place.

Since when do we applaud Politicians for doing there job and listening to voters? This is what they are supposed to do. They work for the people. After all these weeks of this controversy. Krebs is ready to listen. It is apparent she is only going to listen to Courtney’s side and call it a day.
The only thing we can do is never vote for these people again. We can’t waste anymore time on them. They are who they are.

Wow I saw a sign today, that said "Jesus is watching you Bob Courtney!" I'm glad Jesus is keeping an eye on him, because none of us have time to keep an eye on him. Maybe Jesus will give us a hint as to what he's up to every day and what the next thing is going to be that he's going to do to us. Mind you I said to us not for us.
