Keep beating the dead horse, that will fix everything. Complaining about what's going on won't help at this point. The only way to change it is to elect people who want to actually support the will of the people. As Spock said: The needs of the many out way the needs of the few.

Charlie Cardinal… If the younger generation isn’t going to work, then you like a system where the government supports them, through the taxes of those who will work?

Ok, lets say the Tariffs do bring back manufacturing. Who is going to work? This younger generation won't show up and wants to make $100,000 a year the first year. Then AI will take most of those jobs in the next ten years.

As stated before, it will take years to build the manufacturing facilities. In the meantime, the American people have to pay through the nose because of these tariffs.

For those who speak about bringing these jobs back. It's easy to say it. But when you drill down on the facts. Your view is extremely narrow.

I'm glad Trump is putting tariffs on other countries. NAFTA was the start of our downfall. Why are we buying American cars, trucks from Canada,Mexico. Whirlpool leaves Evansville 15 yrs ago for Mexico. Snap on tools leaves Illinois for Mexico. I go the Buckle and laugh at the place of manufacture and people paying way too much, not me. Converse shoes made in Vietnam. We need our jobs back here. If not your job may be next. How are you going to make it?

(Jefferson Co.) - The Indiana Department of Transportation has temporarily closed State Road 56 approximately 4.6 miles east of Madison for slide repairs in Jefferson County.

The closure is located between North Bee Camp Road and North Shirks Hollow Road near Brooksburg. S.R. 56 will remain closed until traffic signals can be installed on a later date, opening the road to one lane. Additional information and updates will be provided as it becomes available.

In reply to the alias Update Chapo. I must once again correct your Ace Reporting.

When a trial court judge abuses its discretion, adopts storytelling arguments instead of relying on evidentiary facts, acts as a rubberstamp for the government, and uses the threat of jail time without due process in a civil case; injustice prevails.

When the higher courts rely on the trial courts erroneous orders instead of doing their own fact finding; injustice prevails.

When the county in fact never regulated shooting ranges in 2016 and the complaint failed to cite any provision of the zoning ordinance allegedly violated, all the inconvenient facts and objections aside, here we are almost 9 years later still fighting. Justice will prevail.

John B. Would love to know your thoughts or views on our Presidents plan on tariffs. Tariff's that our current President continues to say will generate payments from other countries to help reduce our budget. Also wondering how it will affect companies in Madison, like Grote Industries?

Latest information I've seen, show car prices could go up $3500.00 to $12,000.00 per vehicle. It doesn't take long for one to figure out that tariff's will be paid by the American people, not foreign companies.

While I understand the presidents goal is to bring all manufacturing back to the US. But at what cost? It takes years to build plants. Why do so, when one knows our current President only has a little over three and a half years left. Wake up people!! Were a global economy.

Also would love to know your views on the US taking control of Canada, Greenland and the Panama Canal? I could keep going on and on, but will leave it at this for the moment.

In what has felt to be a never ending litany of legal actions a judge has put her foot down. Chapos are required to pay the approximate 250 thousand dollar fine or go to jail. The original issue involved Chapos building a shooting range after having been denied a permit and failing to file an appeal. What followed was multiple neighbor complaints and an eventual action by the county to cease all operations. Since then both state and federal courts have issued multiple losses for the Chapos and they in turn have repeatedly appealed. There is little if anything the county can do now that the judge has ordered payment or jail time. According to court records Chapo’s said they have enough money pay the fine. Chapo’s have 30 days from the time of the judges order last week to pay.
