Comments: It's embarrassing to watch this whole * * * show, I refuse to go downtown because of all of the freaking golf carts, it's frustrating but just a matter of time before someone dies, I see young kids operating them, and why would you take an infant on a golf cart ride in the society we live in, keep your golf cart out of my way, keep your children from operating them and don't ever put àn infant in a golf cart, I mean do you have proper restraints for anyone in that cart?, Madison is a joke, can't wait until you ignorant people see the light

Comments: So let me get this straight. Stores on Main Street are closing left and right, and our mayor (who must think we’re all fools compared to him) wants to create a new district on the riverfront that would then make way for more storefronts? Make that make sense?
And if you think the corner of Vaughn and Jefferson is the only property they’re wanting to develop, then you’re in for a treat. There are several buildings planned for this riverfront development, I just know it! It’ll all come out eventually. Tall buildings stretching from Bicentennial Park all the way to the Cotton Mill.
Go to the plan commission meeting on Monday night! Get mad because no one is listening to us! We the people of Madison must impeach Bob Courtney NOW.

Comments: Nice of the city of Madison to finally post about the Plan Commission Meeting at 6:00 pm on Monday. They know there will be a large crowd. As a show of good faith and transparency the city could have moved the meeting to a larger venue to accommodate the expected crowd.
It's just too bad the mayor and his junior assistant weren't forthcoming about the whole project from the beginning. The whole thing just feels wrong.
If anything the decision should be delayed until everything is put on the table. There are a lot of questions. Was the READI grant obtained under false pretenses? Why the need for an NDA? Is this area miraculously out of the flood zone? Why would we need to develop this for new businesses when we can't support the ones on Main St. now? Is this really in the best interest of our community?

Comments: To: Charlie Cardinal. No comparison between the mayor of Madison and Donald Trump. The difference, Trump will tell you what's going on. He's on tv everyday. Unlike Biden who was out breaking records on vacation days. The guy was a joke and alot of suckers fell for it. And the problem with the people of Madison was they sat on their rears to long while alot of money was being spent.Are the books open to see for money spent on paid by the city restaurants. I heard but can't prove alot of people eating off Madisons dime. Let's see who the regular freeloaders showed up for dinner. The town needs an audit. Cut the fat and run the city like it's supposed to be ran. Harold Hunt brought alot of jobs to Madison industry. What did Madison bring to Madison?

Comments: MPD - instead of watching traffic on Clifty Drive, why don't you watch traffic in the residential neighborhoods where the real issues are.
