I think Mayor Bob and Ms Roberts with CASA need to be put on unpaid administrative leaves pending a formal investigation into this matter.

Had it been any other man that followed Councilman Thevenow’s fiancé home, the police would have been called and action would have been taken at the time of the offense. Instead, she did the only thing she felt she could, record. And thank goodness she did.

Abuse of power is a gross understatement when considering what our “mayor” did in those moments. It is unacceptable, criminal behavior. And it will be extremely disappointing if he is not held accountable for his actions.

Sorry Judge Mott but your director and board have made a mockery of you and the CASA program. Anytime a group like CASA gets connected to a political vendetta it never recovers. People might not talk as loud but they will talk and that means fewer volunteers will apply than would have before this. It also means fewer dollars coming in than would have. That really matters with Trump slicing and dicing all over the place. Then you’ve got family members who got drawn in to Whitney’s scam with the mayor. Whitney is going to be treated just like she treated Kate and Whitney’s not going to like being lied about and humiliated just for someone else’s enjoyment. That’s the sad truth. CASA has become the face of bullying and irresponsible management. Surely you have someone else on your team that can lead fairly and treat volunteers decently?

Bob begging a favor from a nice lady he abuses every chance he gets because she tells the truth and her coming to help him gaurd his family while he’s attacking countless other families in this crazy town. He’s in the middle of trashing Thevenow’s fiancée after he and is crazy wife actually chased after her from Cragmont street after a neighborhood meeting and then stalked her all the way home. I heard he trapped he in her car after she parked and she videoed just to be safe. So how is it this guy complains about protecting his family when he takes true joy in hurting other people’s?

I can’t believe the judge and the board let one of their best volunteers be treated like that. I mean the mayor chasing her around town in a city car then traps her in her vehicle while she’s parking at home. I thought that was illegal to do to someone. No wonder the poor woman pulled out her phone to video. Which I’d still like to see btw JB.

All I can add is it seems unfair for Bob to whine about his family being hurt when he intentionally tracked down his nemesis Council Thevenow’s family to hurt her any way he could. And as far as Whitney is concerned at CASA- I’m not donating another dime or going to another Pieces event as long as she’s there. YOU DONT TREAT VOLUNTEERS LIKE THAT!

Please do not cast stones at the CASA organization. The job they do is important and most of the people involved are outstanding citizens working to advocate for the children in our community.

Recent events are not a reflection of the organization itself, but of a mayor that used his political office to influence decisions made by the executive director.

The only ones at fault here are the mayor and executive director. They are the ones that put their personal needs and friendship above the advocacy of children.

Mayor cries foul when mention of his family is made, but he had no problem going after the Thevenow family.

This needs to stop. The executive director and mayor should apologize for the damage they have done to the volunteer and the organization.

The executive director should resign to save the organization further embarrassment.

It must be open season for talking bad about Bob and his visions for the city, and a no fly zone for questioning and holding the chief of police accountable for his deliberate acts and embarrassment to the city? Will you still block posts when the media trucks are parked outside city hall and and PD?

It wasn’t a bribe it was a thank you for removing a post about which the mayor was concerned was hurting his family. It was the one from Mrs. T - I think she was trying to be kind and explain why the mayor and his family are sometimes at the center of public scandal. She was discussing health issues and I do believe she meant well but Bob didn’t want his family hurt. Tjh

In quickly reviewing the city of Madison's flood plain regulations I really don't see how Courtney's condoms can be built. I'm sure the state might have a say in this. As to someone giving Courtney the finger, I'd just call it waving at the mayor :o

In case you haven't made it up the hill lately, there's a green left turn arrow out at 7 and 62 as you turn south on to 7 from 62 westbound. I sat through that light at least 3 rotations last night because people ahead of me couldn't figure it out. So I've reported it to INDOT and I'm sure strength in numbers will get them to fix it quicker. Thank you for your time.
