I heard Norton (KDH) Hospital is cutting home health services on March 6th?
I hope that's not true. We have a relative that is using that service. Would someone please give me some information on this matter.

To Cold: Realizing that you have problems with your child for 2 hours but, you must live in town. Have you tried driving on the roads out in the county? The school system drives them and, them makes the decision as to what to do. As a parent I would thank them for not putting my child in danger on ice covered roads!

I have a couple of questions..has a new chief of police been hired, or is it going to be kept a secret?

Also..does anybody else think Armstrong is getting just a slap on the wrist or is it just me? What's wrong with serious prison time and a hefty fine? Or is that too much to ask for a guy who's been molesting kids for years?

Did we delay because it’s cold? Our schools need to be in session full day. Whoever makes the decision must not have a 2nd grader. I keep having to figure out what to do with him so I can be at work on time. Please stop calling unnecessary delays so people don’t have to work full days

Does MCS require background checks on parents and non-students attending sporting events, school plays, other school functions and extracurricular activities? I don’t believe so! Why should a dance be any different? What or whom is this policy attempting to protect?

To answer the questions about Jefferson House- yes they are moving. This time to two houses owned by the New Fellowship Church on the hilltop. Somewhere around 20 rooms. I’m not sure if they are group homes or residential treatment facilities. There is a big difference. I haven’t bothered to check zoning or if they submitted plans to the state. Group homes and residential treatment facilities both have bathroom as well as fire safety and “sleeping” area standards. I’m told but have not confirmed the Jefferson Street building will be sold. Questions about zoning violations and other public concerns should be addressed to the mayor’s office. Give them a call and they can help you. Tjh

Armstrong is expected to cut a deal to keep him out of prison. No prison or jail wants an ex cop , leave an alone a child predator ex cop who happened to be a mayor and school resource officer. Armstrong would be dead in a day after a big gang rape . Which admittedly he deserves but I honestly don’t see the state willing to deal with the hassles of an ex cop kiddy freak.

So like everyone else I’m expecting him to go on the predator list and get some type of probation with restrictions. Let’s face it since all the info leaked out about why he was arrested in the first place even his best bud Wallace ditched him. So all he has left is no money, a brother who’s broke from paying attorney fees for him and a few pals from the old Catholic group (that figures doesn’t it). Anyway, Tim’s life’s been over a long time now. He can’t go anywhere or do anything without people shunning him or worse confronting him. For those that thought he’d get off innocent as a new born baby think again. He’s going to be on the offender list so no matter where he goes - EVERYONE WILL KNOW TIM ARMSTRONG IS A CHILD PREDATOR .

I've always wondered why the city is in the golf course business in the first place. Seems to me the best option would be to sell sunrise and let the new owners turn it around.
