The homeless wouldn't be bathing or living in the comfort station if Bob would take more interest in them and where they are stay during life threatening weather . JS

Hire the homeless to clean the comfort station? Catch one of those individuals panhandling at Walmart. They always have a sign stating they want to work. Time for them to o prove it

Why not hire some local homeless to clean and keep up the comfort station? Probably be cheaper then having the female prisoners do it? Or better yet. Why not have the humble female city council members take turn? They can't be that busy in a town of 12k. And being off season of the tour buisness. Why does everything women get involved in become impossible...or corrupt?

Is the corporation ever going to have the kids go back to school? This extended break is tough for us that have elementary kids and have had to miss work. I saw sports got to go to a game Friday up north, why can’t we go to school?

They hired someone to take care of the Comfort station. If that person doesn't show then it falls to the parks dept to clean it. But very hard to keep clean when you have the homeless and others taking baths and hanging out in there all day until it closes. It needs to be monitored all day. Definitely harder since it is winter now. So I guess city hall needs to figure it out. They need another person like Gary.

Another Parks Director bites dust! Surprising? Surely not!! By now it's " par for the course, " if you'll accept such a lame pun. Was the shortfall his downfall? It was not. Undue expectations was the culprit. A man is hired and heralded as the best thing since Oreo cookies. The man, himself, isn't making such claim. But the public is led to believe in this brouhaha. Since the good Mr. Stucker was removed from the parks directorship - a move that was totally unnecessary - every parks and recreation czar has been charged w/ these papal bulls: 1.) No unwarranted employees, i.e., keep staff to the bare minimum. 2.) No unnecessary chemicals 3.) No needless equipment 4.) Etc., etc., etc. I believe ALL the directors have abided these edicts. The problem is that Sunrise course simply cannot support its' own existence. Crystal Beach will soon awaken to the same reality. There's no waste; no malfeasance; no larceny; no conduct unbecoming professional ethics. Again, the expectations imposed upon these unfortunate directors are UNREALISTIC. Eventually logic, reason and rationale will raise their noble heads and defeat these kook-bird policies. Pass The Peace And Peace Be With You.

Gary Guarino took care of that stuff. Always left them in good shape.Now I suppose since he's gone they'll never get cleaned again. If it doesn't benefit bob it doesn't matter right

I agree with you. That place is nasty. It should be burned and then condemned. Why isn't something being done about that? They're so concerned about how they appear to tourist, yet they've ignored the gross-ey station. I think this would be a priority in town for everyone involved. Then they need to have somebody Monitor and clean it daily!
