Comments: The regatta has been a joke for many years, just sitting back and watching this collapsing ****show, they try to back it up with what they call music and that's not gonna happen just like the joke coming in August, just a money grab for Madison while they still can

Comments: @ Charlie Ferguson I was looking at the city ordinance 2025-5 exhibit A and D. This was a unlicensed golf cart, driver failed to signal left turn from main onto Jefferson. Please show me in the city ordinance where a golf cart can be on main. I'm not talking state roads or rural roads, but specifically in the city of Madison on the main street and other specific streets

Comments: What a joke this H1 is. Fans are leaving the riverbank. No whitecaps. Rough in Detroit and they race. H1 is destroying the fan base. Need a new organization to replace H1. What a joke.

Comments: @charlie Ferguson, did the city change the golf cart ordinance, last I heard you could only cross main street not be on it? Since you say there are rules concerning calling people names, may I call the ones consuming alcohol while driving golf carts, those with children not secured in their seats, texting while driving golf carts and o my the ones that run the stop signs ,can I call them dumba$$e$? Golf carts especially driven in the aforementioned are a hazard to everyone and I truly think it's a matter of time God forbid there will be a tragedy
Comments: Well I went and lost my keys at Roostertail. Does anyone know if there's a lost and found or a way for me to reach someone aside from the information on the website? I may risk the traffic to come downtown afterwards to look.
If anyone happens to see them I think they're in the park by where the blue scaffolding is/was and it's a Kia car key with a cream/gold fob cover, black house key with home and a heart on the top, and a fuel cap key that's black on top and painted with Lisa Frank flecked nail polish (think bright and cheerful). They should all be on the same ring and each key is on a separate clip.
If by some miracle I get these back I'll be forever indebted to their finder
If not, at least my keys went to the Regatta!

Comments: Regarding golf carts on Main Street, some are allowed. If they meet safety requirements from the state and have state issued license plate they may be eligible. They can travel on roads that have speed limits of 35 mph or less. Please know the rules before calling people names. Check to see if they have a license plate.

Comments: It would be nice for the citizens of Madison to know if city municipalities get compensated for regatta. A lot of man hours, equipment wear and tear, water and electric? Some businesses get a lot of revenue but do the citizens get revenue back? And yes the citizens get put out just for the enjoyment of a few hours of non competitive racing. Time to put an end to the madness!

Comments: As a longtime Madison resident, I have been treated like * * * by all of these visitors this weekend. All of these events our city puts on attracts terrible people who treat those that live here like trash. Every year I dread Regatta and several other large events. Chautauqua is the ONLY event that I feel the visitors and clientele treat our community with dignity. I may get flack for this, but Regatta isn’t what it used to be. It really shouldn’t continue, between the scandal with Miss Madison and the destruction of our riverfront, end it now. I encourage everyone to go walk the riverfront Sunday at 5:00pm. All of our lovely visitors will have trashed Vaughn Drive, leaving us, the people who live here, to clean it up. But hey, add luxury apartments to the cluster that is Vaughn drive during a weekend like this.
