The mayor says a lot of things and most of them are lies or drunken slurs. But I’m still worried about him getting Sherman Barber to do a rate study for another water fee increase. I’m asking why so soon? Why after the recent huge increase is he needing another? It seems to me if he’d quit bleeding the water fund for all these other expenses we’d be paying lower rates not higher. As for the riverfront, the city has limitless options instead of a high income housing. They could plant a few trees, pave it nicely and add some landscape. It doesn’t need to be the gravel pit Dee Bennett left. When Bob wanted to buy this property he lied to council to get them to agree to spend the money. Not that it would make much difference. The only one not dropping to their knees and giving favors in Thevenow. It’s disgusting to watch all these “yes” boys and girls go along with wherever Bob demands.

Thank you for the kind words of my Dad. He loved Madison. He and my Mom Carolyn Scott loved the River.As for the Hilltop it was just yesterday Peter Ellis and I spooke of all the development he was a part of. He and my Uncle Perin did atleast 13 on the old Bueman Farm and I sold off 2.
Dad and Bill Nighbert built many homes in Sunrise together. Dad and friend Jimmy Demaree did Jacksons Corner Arbys. Dad as a part of Demaree Investments with both Jimmy and Bill did Ivy Tech and the building where $ tree is.
Windridge, Riverpoint Shopping Center and cut Demaree Drive in for all its now developed area.
Dad then formed Bevcher with his wife Beverly and Cheryl & John Eckert.
This brought the Supercenter of Walmart, Jewel House, Aldi,and Holiday Inn express
Dad would instill in me John the Customers like the taste of Cream to so always share it with them.
Dad passed in October of 1997 and had 4 set deals when he passed.
Dad did things I had know idea he helped so many people that I cant mention them all.But Phil Wallace broke his leg as a kid and Dad took him to KDH.
Dad lived in a golden age. So thank you both Pete Ellis and Charlie for seeing and remembering my Dad and his Vision for Madison. Thanks also goes out to the Perin Scott Family,Bill and June Nighbert,Charlie and Nancy Grooms, Jimmy Koehler & Family, Bobby Phillips,Demaree Family Bill, Jim,& * * *. The Jones family,the Eckerts both John as a partner and Tom as my Dads Dr. Bernard at the Scott block.
So many workers over the years .
Dad even caught as Kerry Sauley would pitch. Man I am so Proud of my Dad.

Kudos to your family John especially your Dad. It was his vision for how the hilltop business district would be designed. Thanks to his vision, he gave us the best of both worlds. The special elements of the old downtown with the modern emenities of the hilltop business district. It was brilliant. If your Dad was alive today neither Courtney or Steinhardt would be qualified to be bring him a glass of water. What boobs those two happen to be.

Mayor Bob,why in the world do you and Tony think everything including thrRiverfront sit needs to be Developed by you 2?
The True Fabric has changed enough for the next Generation to develop in Downtown. Why not if you insist on spending money do more on the Hilltop.
Bob what new large industries have you and Tony brought to Madison. Harold Hunt does not count as he is Homegrown.

This riverfront property is not Blighted as you insist. Its just empty,so what.

The park between Central and Poplar yes its beautiful but to build it the old Button factory and remains were coveed up permantly
But it sure did provide the Deputy Mayor a beautiful Riverview. If you and Tony really need this type of a development in your lives, why dont you both move to Carmel or Zionsville O thats right you both will be tiny fish in a huge pond.

Bob the big Koehler farm out near Clifty Park 80 acres has the City bought this or not ?

The apartments behind Hobby Lobby how much of the large retention pond will be needed for access to the Apartments? How much additional Stormwater will the appartments create for the now reduced pond to retain?

How will this effect the already overburdened Crooked Creek watershed? And inturn effect Walnut Street & beyond.
I further ask Lucy,Pat,Joel,Josh and all the rest why do we Love Madison?
Why did our family members before us Love Madison?

Folks look at your Kids and Grandkids dont they deserve the same chance to enjoy the entire Riverfront as we have.
I come from a real estate family 3rd generation developer. I live on the hill but I lived downtown for my first 23 years.
I do enjoy coming down and sitting and relaxing on both sides of the River.
Please all of as take the time and drive down Milton Hill. And ask ourselves do we really need this absolutely painting disturbed? You know money and tax money is not worth destroying the the fabric an feel of the True Historic Downtown Madison as we all know and hsve known it to be.

You ask Karla Krebs or anybody connected to the Courtney Administration about this site. Karla calls us the "Horribles." She says "we are horrible people." Courtney will tell you it is only about a dozen of us who post on here. So don't pay attention to us.
I got a message for Courtney and Krebs. The reason for this site is totally on you. If you just happen to be transparent in everything you do. Maybe all of Madison wouldn't have to post or visit this site. Maybe if you gave us the correct City Financials. Maybe we would be a little more trusting. Maybe if you didn't run around town and give us. "You people just don't understand the grand plan." Then when one of us ask what the grand plan is and you would share it. Maybe we wouldn't have to use this site.
Thank God this site exists. It levels the playing field or these boobs would run over top of us and we couldn't see it coming. Atleast, we can see what these clowns are doing to us and take care of it at the ballot box in a few years.
Karla, we are not horrible people. We just like to know when our local government is not being upfront and honest. You people are clearly not being upfront and honest in the case of the Riverfront Apartments. Your especially not honest about the City Financials. Quite Frankly, when you mess with the quality of life of Madisonians the way your little tiny group is doing. People tend to get a little nasty. If your receiving blow back and feel uncomfortable about it. It is all on you Karla. It is all on you. Trust me, if you vote Courtneys way. We will never ever forget it. You will feel it forever.
