It appears as if the mayor has slandered and libeled MMI board members. Courtney has falsely claimed the board sold City property without permission. The truth is MMI has always been a free standing 501c3 charity and in full control of their own assets and finances. Tax records clearly indicate all assets are the property of MMI - the city does not own the boat , tools, trailers nor control cash. Nor is there a line item in the city budget that shows revenue and expense for Miss Madison.

Here’s my thoughts on the mayor complaining after the MMI deals done saying he fired all the board members and is going to save the day. Reminds me of the park department fiasco where nearly 600 grand was flushed into Bobs hair brain schemes and then he fires the park director after he neglected to monitor city finances. So here we are with another board Bob 100% controls and just like the city parks there’s money problems. Bob jumps around and doesn’t do anything besides blame everybody else for the MMI problems. When in fact Bob never bothered taking a look at anything , not ever with MMI in all his years as mayor . So it’s not anyone’s fault but his. The buck stops with the guy that was supposed to be monitoring everything and making sure the money and decisions were handled right. I’m sick of his blame game and emotionally hysterics. Bob needs to learn to stand up like a man and take responsibility for his poor oversight.

Sadly. I have watched Madison go to H311 since 2008. The worst decline has been in the last 5 years. Oh, We have stores to shop in and no one to work them constantly short staffed. You can decide on your own why.
A grocery downtown that cost to much to much to shop in. The streets are a mess and your garbage rate is costly. You can't walk in or get an appointment with this self appointed king of this $hit pile. Madison is deep in debt,with a bunch of missing money no one can account for, yet if you try to talk to the king about it he goes into orbit. He even made a fool out of himself a couple of times behaving like a total * * * and the a$$ he is.
How he's called Mr grooms a thief. He's attacted a business owner on main street until the guy has fought back. The the big baby king wants a restraining order.
This city is a mess. When I read that this is a great destination to live or visit. It just make me nauseous.
Some people must love all this drama. I think it's a shame.
I wish this mayor/ self appointed king would grow up and try to act like a man instead of the spoiled brat.
I sure pray he grows up. It's certainly past time. It'd embarrassing for those who live here.

Welp, for all his whining and false accusations on the 64 page protective order it looks like nobody really gives a darn. At least not the courts . Because despite Bobs getting his feelings hurt while in a group chat and complaining about imaginary threats while exaggerating all sorts of things the court decided Bobs request wasn’t that big of a deal and scheduled for May 15-16 to review whether or not the order needed to be put in place. I’m just guessing but looks like the judge didn’t feel there was any real threat or at least a threat that rose to the level of immediately giving a PO . Anybody else tired of Bobs threatening citizens and intimidating people who stand up to him? Rumor has it the city might end up with a big ole lawsuit because race seems to be playing a part in this situation.

This just in - despite rumors catching fire today- Commissioner Bramer isn’t stepping aside for any reason nor is Larry Wynn being appointed in his place. However the whole town would like for Larry to be mayor.

Mayor’s got an interview around 11:30 with a Louisville news station to talk about MMI. I’m guessing he’ll continue the blame game instead of stepping up and admitting he didn’t bother going to any meetings or checking MMI financials all this time . Nobody’s fault that it’s gone on all this time and got so bad except Bobs. About half the staff just laugh behind his back anymore.
