In what has felt to be a never ending litany of legal actions a judge has put her foot down. Chapos are required to pay the approximate 250 thousand dollar fine or go to jail. The original issue involved Chapos building a shooting range after having been denied a permit and failing to file an appeal. What followed was multiple neighbor complaints and an eventual action by the county to cease all operations. Since then both state and federal courts have issued multiple losses for the Chapos and they in turn have repeatedly appealed. There is little if anything the county can do now that the judge has ordered payment or jail time. According to court records Chapo’s said they have enough money pay the fine. Chapo’s have 30 days from the time of the judges order last week to pay.

So why do we even have a parks department. Nothing besides a pool that’s open 3 months at best and a golf course plus more than half a million over budget. No kids play ball. There’s no after school programs. Every now and then they throw some kind of party once or twice a year. Where does the money go?

Shane, According the the Council of Foreighn Afairs; the United States agreed, via a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to provide Israel with $3.8 billion per year through 2028. This aid to Israel was negotiated in 2016 by Obama. It seems to be a small price to pay to secure the middle east from being taken over by Hamas, Hezbolla, the Houthis, etc and establishing an Islamic califate, allied and financed by Iran. This pales in comparision to the almost $200 BILLION given to Ukraine over the past two years, to fund a conflict with the Russians they can't win...... Is it money well spent, for some yes, for others apparently not.
Should Israel and the Jews perish? For some apparently so.

John B, While you're at it, you might want to mention about getting 8 million a day from US government. Oh and how about Israel's 11 million dollars each and every day, while they have free healthcare and free college. I guess what we really need is more trillions gifted to the super rich.

While some hard line gop and maga types are tossing fits about these discussions I want to thank JB for letting them happen. I get that gop folks are upset their guy is taking a hit and I even understand John B saying torching a Tesla doesn’t change anything. But the truth is the #takedowntesla campaign is about taking away some of Musks power and that means hitting him in his pocket. Sales are off in Europe 50% on average and Musks face and Nazi salute is everywhere. It’s a sad situation for the USA to be looked at as Nazi sympathizers and now with signal gate we are military buffoon’s . We are a horrible joke to the rest of the world. We have a paid and bought government from Trump to Courtney . If you donate and kiss arse you are heard. If not you are harassed, drug into court, threatened and ran out of town or worse jailed in some 3d world prison. Courtney passed out pace grant dollars to campaign contributors and pals while Trump and Musk spend it so fast there’s no way any cuts will mean anything. It’s all just gonna help the top 1%in the nation and the arse kissers here in Jefferson County. So let’s build a 10 million dollar trail up Hanover Hill Highway, keep protecting the town pervert and spend, spend, spend.
