To the last person...you are so much a tool...everything you just said was supportive to the problems of madison. Infactual and false statements. You like the way things are probably because your part of the corruption?

WOW Anonymous, you are pretty sure of yourself. First let’s start with your spelling of the word Anonymous! You and your thoughts about what’s to come from either the new Governor or your own wishes are extremely
unfortunately hurtful for the hardworking Hosiers throughout Indiana. Now, the local women in our county and several other in many counties, are not going to sit by and let folks like you run them over. Their missions are there to help all citizens in their counties. Next let’s move on to our PD. No there are not enough officers to do an adequate job for the city. The few that we have are street officers, Detectives and K9 officers. Those talents all have varied job duties. With them working both downtown and the hilltop, splitting the total officers over there shifts leaves limited crews for each shift. There are only so many hours for each shift and 2 to 3 times the calls they can handle. Just a few things I thought should be shared. :o :o :o ;)

Annonymous, you say you want doge to come to town--don't worry the new governor is implementing State changes to mirror Federal wishes. He's got his million dollar cabinet. His salary has increased. He's pushing out workers at all levels, no raises for those left behind. Madison schools stand to lose $829,000 in funding in 2026, more than a million in 2027 and 2028. Most surrounding school districts looking at similar losses under the new regime. Don't think for a minute that the admins are going to go without a raise. They'll make up for it with no teacher raises, won't hire replacements, cut aide positions and gut enrichment programs. Hope you're ready to buy a lot more chocolate bars and magazine subscriptions to fund education. Meanwhile, they won't touch city hall because those officials have the right friends and are in the right club.

Common sense....don't kid yourself...its all about the money these days...not a thing happens unless some one is taking a kick back or over inflating prices...

Why is the City in the golf course business? For the exact same reasons it is in the ballpark business, the riverfront business, the lake business, the park business. To provide recreation for the taxpayers. Not a difficult concept to grasp. Unless you just want to whine about other people having a good time and improving their health in the great outdoors. It's not there to turn a profit, it's there to provide recreation. Seriously, whine about some other highly important topic.

I've asked this question before, but I'll ask again. Why is the city of Madison in the golf course business? Most all golf courses make money or there wouldn't be so many.
